WKPT will participate in the Smart Manufacturing Demo Showcase on July 4th, organized by the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and executed by the Industrial Technology Research Institute. This demo will showcase smart image recognition technology, sharing achievements and successful application experiences in the field of smart manufacturing to spread the benefits of intelligent applications.
As Taiwan's leading supplier of metal machined parts for commercial vehicles, WKPT specializes in high-quality cast iron parts, aluminum alloy castings, forgings, extrusions, and stainless steel machined parts, which serve diverse industries, including transportation, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, and green energy. The demo showcase will highlight WKPT’s journey through smart manufacturing upgrades, addressing key challenges and presenting innovative solutions:
1.Automation of International Order Management: Implementation of a sophisticated process automation system for international order management, enhancing operational efficiency and improving order delivery accuracy.
2.Optimization of Machine Network Systems: Development of communication protocols adhering to international standards, such as MTConnect, to collect and optimize various processing parameters, thereby enhancing processing efficiency and reducing carbon footprint.
3.Smart Image Recognition Technology: Introduction of state-of-the-art smart image recognition technology to replace manual inspections, significantly improving quality inspection efficiency and overall product quality.
