Casting carbon reduction technology represents the future of sustainable metal manufacturing, driving innovation through international collaboration and knowledge exchange between industry leaders across Japan, Thailand, and Taiwan. WKPT's participation in the "Carbon Reduction & AI - Latest Casting Technology Trends" seminar hosted by the Green Sand Casting Association and co-organized by the Taiwan Foundry Society demonstrates our commitment to advancing environmentally conscious manufacturing processes. Distinguished experts including Dr. Masayuki Itamura (former Tohoku University professor specializing in aluminum alloy semi-solid die-casting technology), Dr. Haruki Ito (President of I2C Technology Co., Ltd. focusing on cast iron metal molding technology), and Dr. Perakit Viriyarattanasak (Thailand's National Metal Materials Technology Center) shared cutting-edge insights on lightweight component development and process optimization. The evolution from traditional sand mold casting to advanced techniques including die casting, vacuum die casting, semi-solid die casting, micro casting, and gigacasting using high-strength, high-ductility materials aligns with environmental protection consensus and ESG principles for the metal machining industry.
To expand further business opportunities, WKPT, who specializing
in the precision machining of transportation equipment, industrial machinery,
and green energy power components, participated "Precision Components
Sales Expansion" by TAITRA. From September 24th to 29th, the delegation
traveled to Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya to create more business opportunities with
Japanese precision manufacturers.
